Add a socket to a circuit - Small Job, Big Mess.

The difficult part of this job was not the electrical side of things but the 'making good'. We had to chase out a section of the wall and run a feed to a new socket on the other side of another partition wall.

The walls were dott and dab plasterboard, knowing this we carefully cut out the chase and kept the plasterboard as we knew it would go back in, saving on material and labour costs. Once the cables were in place we dott and dabbed the plasterboard back on and filled with a super fine plaster used by dry-wall plasterers. This special plaster is so fine it sands back into place so well that once painted is impossible to see the joins. This approach kept the overall job time down considerably, saving on plasterers & decorators bills and enabling the client to start renting again in time for the season.
